I joined this site yesterday hoping to get some euro links for while i'm at work and having had a good look around it looks absolutely brilliant and wonder why i never thought of it before so thankyou to whoever does the work on here and look forward to hopefully seeing some games. I have downloaded sopcast and tvu and tvants so far as i read in one place these seem to be the most popular, is this right?

However,As an openly gay man though i do find this particular column rather disgusting. From reading between the lines it sounds like you may have a grievance against a member on here and if that's the case then so be it. However, i am gay and feel slightly nervous writing this incase of the response it may receive but i do feel i have to say something.For many many years now and still to this day footballers who may be gay have felt they cannot be openly gay because of chants they may receive at the grounds. As a gay man, especially over the last 10 years or so i always thought that footballers were wrong to think like this and that actually the general football fan had now changed and there would be no chants. After reading this particular column i'm now wondering if i was wrong to think like that. Not just in the words used but also in the fact that not one person has come forward to say anything about the remarks being made. If this GG member has pissed you's off why not just ban him? If he is gay is that something that should be mentioned when having a go at him? Being gay is not a disease you know? I am gay and i'm proud of my life. Not all gay people wear pink,have pooches and shag in bushes. I play football for a sunday league team and no not in a gay team. I have not heard any homophobic remarks when playing and would say i know more about football than the average man on the street. I don't talk in a camp voice, i don't listen to will young or any other sterotypes you want me to clear up. I thought this 'my arse hurts' etc kind of remarks had long disappeared but obviously i' was wrong. I would have thought a great site like this with it's ethics on free football and giving football back to the people attitude would be the last place to hear such remarks and for me is the only blip on an otherwise superb website.

I would urge the owner(s) of this site to set a precedent on how they would expect the average football fan to behave and encourage this in these discussions. I don't mind someone calling me a poofta when they get to know me and it's abviously said in jest and a wink or something but to try and wind someone up or have a go at someone by coming out with something gay says to me that you find being gay dirty or sick and this leaves me angry as well as astonished that such attitudes still exist.

This will probably be my one and only post to these discussions as i don't speak a lot on the internet but because i can see myself being a regular visitor to this site for links and perhaps browse the discussions for other information i felt i had to stand up and say something and would hope that by me saying something i would not have to read such things again.

I ask you the same. Why do you find it boring? Is this because you have no answer to it or you are perhaps homophobic? I often come across the same kind of response whenever i question someones attitude. A bit like somneone saying " I'm not homophobic but....." or "I'm not racist but....." then go on to say something that clearly is. As i say, you may have a grievance against a member on here but to come out with gay remarks as an insult ti him is not only wrong but actually offensive to all the gay members on this board. In my opinion this is GG, trying a new tactic after many months of failing to annoy.

Welcome to the site Bumblebee. There's history between FSi and GrumpyGit (who has trade under various names) and got on the tits of pretty much every member on the board. For some reason he gets a kick out of registering as a new user and posting absolute dribble just to try and fill his sad pathetic little life with joy.

I take great offense to your accusations adam. From what i can gather but please correct me if i'm wrong but you are not a moderator or an Administartor on this site right? So your accusations of me being this GG character are based on what exactly? A hunch? A feeling? I'm no computer expert but i'm sure that the people who run this site could tell you if i was GG and until they tell you that i am which i know they never will because i am not then i suggest you keep that opinion to yourself. So far i've tried to be civil with you, i've even asked you a question that you did not answer and all i've had in return is accusations. I don't know if certain members or comments can be reported to the corect people but if there is i can assure you if you carry on with such accusations i wil be reporting you. I'm entitled to my opinion and of course it's only based on a feeling, but I generally go with my gut and it's right most of the time.
Personally your latest post makes me think you are indeed GG even further and I can't see anything changing my mind on this one.

Im not too sure that anyway here has posted anything about homosexuals, or demonstrated anything homophobic - the only one in this post was Martin from Brighton (aka GG (whoever he is in real life)), so i think accusing people on this board of being a homophobe is as pig ignorant and braindead as actual homophobes.

Im following Brazil for the euros.

Adam has taken 'banter' in this thread for weeks, without complaint. It's just that GG has pi55ed so many people off and wasted a lot of people's time when they have been only trying to help others get free football. Some members have taken an understandable dislike to him. They've also wasted time answering posts by him, only to end up with the predictable illogical diatribe after a bit of reasoned discussion. His posts have been deleted but appear on the DB log files, which can be passed on to his ISP.

He can't be permanently banned as his ISP assigns IP addresses dynamically and to ban a block of them may also ban valued members. He is aware of this.

I've mentioned in another thread in the past that I would not class myself as homophobic. GG is the exception that proves the rule. I think that most, if not all, of the remarks causing offence were aimed at GG and nobody else. I can see that it may look different to someone unaware of the history.

There will be plenty of links for the Euros. As to who is going to win, I don't really have an opinion. I just hope that there's plenty of good football.

TBH, Bumblebee should be given a chance, if it is GG it doesnt matter he hasnt pissed anyone off yet, which seems to be what he enjoys most. If it is GG will indeed 'out' (no pun intended) himself in due time. So bumblebee should be treated like an ordinary member until he does something which makes him a bad member.

Welcome to the site bumblebee enjoy.
