Joe. When you look at the downloaded file in File Manager (or whatever it's called now, Explorer?), what type of file/s have you got?

I got Word from a torrent, no problems.
Obviously, I only downloaded it for testing/research purposes. I bought a legit copy immediately.

Install Win rar on your system. Download all the parts. Right click the first part (the part with the file number 1) and choose 'extract to' and click on 'Desktop'. What you will have then is an .iso file. To run this you can 'mount' the image using the free demon tools light from here - http://download.cnet.com/DAEMON-Tool...-10778842.html Open demon tools after you've installed it and click either open file or mount image can't remember off the top off my head then it will make your pc think that you've put the actual disc in the drive and it will start the install. Check your pm.

Joe you have to use winrar, right click on first file and unzip to seperate file. Only one file not all. It usually downloads as an ISO image which I then use daemon tools to right click and it mounts it. This makes a virtual drive. If it doesn't run straight away go into my computer and right click on the disk or drive it has created and then run. If it won't run then right click open to find the exe file to run. You always get an nfo file I hink its called if you right click and open with notepad the instructions are in there usually. Been a little while since done it , how long has windows 7 been out, that long.
