He should have gone before christmas, with the whole O'Neill fiasco. Wonder if Zola would have faired any better if he was given longer. Its not like West Ham have the worst teamsheet in the league, i can see a fair few teams looking to pick up a few players from west ham.

Who'd want to work for those running west ham? Karren Brady in particular seems to enjoy talking to the press about managers, both at B'ham and west ham.

I dont know all the particulars but looks like a club who will treat you well if you do well, and arent afraid to back a manager with money, doesnt appear to be a bad place to manager, like any job if you dont succeed you'll get sacked, thats just the way football is at the minute. Surprised they kept with grant for so long, shows a bit more loyalty than most boards would have shown. Paid for it though in the long run.

Dont get me wrong i dont like Brady, Gold or Sullivan, but they do back their managers in transfer market, and thats not a bad thing.
