Not meaning to sound harsh but its the cowards way out, the only thing that I can reason with committing suicide is if you have a terminal illness, but this seems to be out the blue and sudden. Obviously my thoughts go to his family, who will now feel partly responsible and will have questions that will never be answered.

Very, very sad news. Tragic. He was a great player, seemed totally at ease on yesterday's football focus. He kept himself and his private life exactly that, private. Who knows what went on behind closed doors or in his head. Tragic, tragic news.

What do you know? Have you ever been close to killing yourself? Let me tell you, i'm not going to get into personal details here, a member of my family committed suicide and do i think he was a coward? No i don't, i saw the horrific mental torture which was his daily life, trying different drugs to try and help him, saw him kneeling at the feet of my mother crying uncontrollably because of the mental torture he was going through. When he committed suicide, if anything, i and my family were happy he was no longer in pain.

So please, unless you have been through it yourself, with respect, shut the fuck up.

The latest i'm hearing from someone in the know is that The Daily star was going to out Gary as gay this Tuesday. If this is true they should be fucking ashamed of themselves and quite frankly be done for manslaughter. Fucking disgraceful.

I was thinking that as well but if Toffee's source is right, I'd want to know the answers to the questions:

1. Did his wife know he was gay before they got married?

2. Did his wife know he was gay before they had children?
