Forum not available on National Express Trains
I was travelling down to London today on the East Coast Main line. The trains are run by National Express and have a free wi-fi internet connection.I had my laptop and did a bit surfing but when I came to log on to the FSI Forum, a page came up saying the National Express ISP was blocked by the site owners.
Anyone know anything about this?

Unless your a troll, spammer or work for a certain anti-free media corporation then there is no isp's currently banned.

My take on it is that National Express trains have banned us. They're just using the same message for both cases. I wouldn't be surprised if you got the same message on Virgin if they do internet access.

except the message that comes up is from this site...not National Expresses site.It is a page headed just like this one with the FSI logo etc which says "your isp is blocked please contact us" ( or similar wording) . So my take is the ISP which National Express uses for its train wi-fi is for some reason blocked by someone on here.It maybe someone in the past while travelling on the train has done some spamming etc and this has caused the ISP to be banned. Incidentally , and I don't know if this is of use, the ISP National Express use I believe is based in Sweden.

FSi does NOT block whole ISP's, never has(only by mistake, sorry australia), never will.

Seems that National Express is using a Swedish satellite broadband provider ( http://www.ses-sirius.com/english/) to connect its trains to the internet. My wife was with me today and luckily she logged on to her own website during the journey. She has a tracker on it and we have just checked it out and National Expresses ISP is
217.28.34.132

To my mind, the problem lies with National Express. Still, it's good to see you trying to log into the site whilst on the move.
Edit: The management are looking into it.
