RIP. Very young
Is it just me or in the last decade or so, are we seeing more and more young deaths in football?

I think that is just reported more/better nowadays. In the past, if less than 2 people died in an incident which happened outside London, we didn't hear about it.

Yep, you're probably right .. but having said that, it's not reported as often as related deaths in other sports .. unless they're really not happening as often in other sports.

Deaths happen more often in Ireland in GAA games, if you judge by local news reports. A death in GAA won't make the national/world news.
