I had loads of tapes from Maxim's, Wigan Pier and such like. I threw them all away about 10 years ago. Wish I'd kept them now...could convert them to digital and make a bomb...missed a trick.

Mate was a very good DJ. Got to the point he could make a living off it. I won't say his name because he uses the site.

He made some absolutely belting tapes. Better than most of the pros. I so wish I'd kept them.

Did you know Stu Alan is still doing gigs, he must be in his late 40s now. Bonkers.

If you can pull off making a living doing it, and well into your 40's ! well big up !!!
Still, not too surprised that certain individuals are still around today. Never heard Stu Allan, but I still listen to old mixes by Carl Cox, LTJ Bukem, Andy Weatherall etc that still sound so damn fresh. Shocked a couple of the younger DJ's I know around here with them, specially considering these mixes are 15+ years old haha
It was all about my time in London 94-95 for me, but never forget some Southport club whse name I forget and hearing Stakker Humanoid for the first time in '89.
