Foo Fighters

I went to see Foo Fighters at the MK Bowl yesterday, it was the greatest rock show I've ever seen and will probably ever see. These guys know how to put on a show, 65,000 people rocked the fuck out for the best part of 7 hours. Other bands playing were The Hot Rats, who's front man is Gaz from Supergrass, they just did covers but were quality. Jimmy Eat World were up next and were so much better than I thought they would be. One of my favourite bands Biffy Clyro then played a pretty big set and were outstanding. Then the Foo's blew my mind, with a massive 26 songs, including a guest appearance from Seasick Steve, John Paul Jones and Bob Mould. My throat is now ruined and I'm still wearing my beer soaked T-Shirt.

I've just created a playlist on Mflow for the entire gig including support bands, theres a bunch of Biffy tracks missing because they aren't available but check it out, it's FREEEEEEEEE!

Sounds good, glad you enjoyed it Mike. My interest in the Foo's has waned since the early days but the latest songs sound really good.

I actually saw them on their first UK tour back in '95. They only had 12/13 songs back then, so it was short set and loads of teenagers were dressed as Kurt Cobain or Courtney Love. I got Pat Smear to sign my ticket after and I got shouted at by Dave Grohl when he got rushed at when coming out the side door, when it was just me caught at the front of the rush!!!

When I say 'shout', he said something like, 'guys calm down man.....'

Quality. Yeh, the last couple of albums were a bit boring, but new one is immense.
