Bit worried about Deadly, he's been very quiet, now I realise Australia have lost the Ashes, been hammered in fact but I dont think that would keep Deadly so quiet...would it?
Are you OK mate, not in trouble with the floods are you?
Queensland has had a real pasting this last few weeks and it seems worst is to come. In fact Australia has had the wettest December for years and years. Firstly NSW and Victoria, then Northern WA and now Queensland all after a 9 year drought.

Spent the day from sun up to sun down cleaning mould from everywhere. I smell like i work in a vinegar factory but it's the only stuff that slow mould growth effectively in this humidity. It's growing on all the walls, floors, cupbords, cutlery drawers(even on my wooden spoons),clothes, fridge, bed, carpet, shoes, bbq(lol) sheets you name it it's on it. Smells fuct my house at the moment but at least it's not underwater like others are. The wet season officially starts this week so all this before hand has just been a bonus. Happens every twenty or so years so don't blame global warming. Had one cyclone last week another 6 they are predicting this season so i'll be cleaning with vinegar for months to come. Trod on two spiders, about three cocky's, a gecko and a skink walking around at night in the past week. They're ok - they're just looking for a dry house so i put up with them but once the sun comes out they can all fuck off. Sunny today first time in months love it - more rain coming in the next few days though so i'll enjoy while i can.
Yeah well, Adelaide was 43C yesterday and on very high fire risk alert and we on the Central Coast just north of Sydney are forecast for 37C today. But last week and the month before I was washing some of the walls down with bleach and water because of mould spots! We had a spell of very high humidity not so long back... 98% but its not so continuous like Queensland. But move inland a few miles and the temperature rises 10C.

...use vinegar mixed with warm water mate - does a better job and doesn't smell after a minute of putting it on. I don't have mould spots - i just have mould lol. Good solid hot as fook day today got sunburnt at the beach helps dry the place out a bit.
I thought Oz had incredible heat without the humidity, no?
you get 100% humidity up north - don't get it down south of Bundaberg really. I was down in Brisbane last week and they have no humidity - it's cool there - got back here and sweats pissing off you allways.
Big hand to tim cahill as well,Following the devasating floods that have affected large parts of Queensland, Tim Cahill has donated a special "money can't buy experience" for auction to raise money for the Queensland Premier's Disaster Relief Fund - dont think to many players would do this
People, the sheer amount of water coming down is unbelievable and there's plenty more on the way. Grantham is east of Toowoomba who got hit yesterday. Toowoomba is up higher and all the water from the mountain range joined up and smashed the valley towns in seconds. There are alot of towns in between with alot of people that cant be accounted for and a day on, no-one has heard anything from them which leads us to think the worst.
The current death toll as of tonight is around 30 for the whole floods but with 80 odd missing after last night i'm sure there will be more bad news tomorrow with the floods moving into the city in Brisbane and into New South Wales. Water always goes down from top to bottom. Towns that were flooded last week and had receded are going under again after more rain last night ie Dalby and probably Rockhampton tonight or tomorrow. This has all been from one little pissy category one cyclone 2 weeks ago and the bureau is predicting six for the year.
