Flashing a Wii

I have just downloaded an app from dididave called "Wii ISO Loader". It gives instructions on how it works and it states that i need a copy of the legend of zelda for it to work, similar i think to the Lumines psp thingy, but before i buy the zelda game could any one who has done this let me know if it is worth doing as my Wii is not chipped and if there is a chance of bricking my Wii i would rather not do it.

Also is there an app that could do the same to my Xbox 360 as i don't have that chipped either.

Dint you have to download a wii channel as well ? But if you have installed the latest wii update it fooked it up ? forget the name of the channel now sorry

Theres a new mod out for wii that doesn't involve a mod chip, or anything that would invalidate your warranty, yet lets you play all the 'backup' games etc.

I've had a fair drink the night and i only popped on to check me email but if yer wait til tomorra, i'll find the info yer need and stick it here.

I'd seen an online place where you send your wii or xbox and they do the jobby on it and send it back (chip it, not have a shite on it and send it back, that'd be rude) for a fee.

However i've lost the link, just spent the last few mins looking for it, and me eyes hurt, i'll leave it till the morra.

Was only meant to be on 5 mins and i've just spent the last 15 on that stupid cricket game.

I've got a ps3 coming next week, but the wife is desperate for a wii. Should i stop being a tight arse and buy them both, or is the wii just a novelty "when you've got mates round" type console?

Haven't played mine for weeks. Mario Kart was great, but got bored of. Bought Tiger Woods and have played that once. Just can't be arsed with it now.

a) Easy?

b) Worthwhile?

Apparently there is a new mod out for the 3.4 for the ones who have updated the wii to that version .

It sounds complicated when you read the instructions, but once you start to follow them it all becomes clearer.
It is totally worthwhile, you have to use good quality discs to burn them though or it won't work. i use some TDK ones from poundland, 2 for �1 and they work a treat.
