Im half expecting everton v villa myself [because of the moyes/villa rubbish]as well-on another note the carling cup 1st round draw is 9am tomorrow morning [why so early i dont know] but dont forget this goes around every year who the 1st games are-anyway 9am friday is the big day

I know it's not Premier chat but:
Was it fate or fixed that the first game for Brighton at their new stadium was against the last team we played at the Goldstone 14 years ago, Doncaster.
A game agianst the big clubs could have been a police nightmare for the first home game.
On about switching it for TV, not so sure about that.Whilst I love to see the Albion on the telly, it takes the occasion away a bit.Then again great chance for all potential away fans to see what awaits them, hopefully making it full house all the time.
Spurs at the Amex in August too, nice warm up game, hope Gomez is in goal.

Lol! I've just found them on the BBC site. Bugger me that's a long trek for Portsmouth to go for a pasting on opening day isn't it!

A 'derby' away to Leeds the following week for us too!
