the stuff dreams were made of!some good ones on there,i remember pattersons goal from his own penalty area,big geordie was to busy trying to look good and by the time he realised what was going on it was too late.
Big George shopped where I worked in Bangor and was always up for a bit of banter in his Linfield tracksuit, kunt! Likeable guy though and a great keeper.

No mention of Glentoran agreeing a fee with an English club for a player who was with another team, offering him £100 extra per week to move to them and making thousands out of the deal when they sold him on within a week?
I've got a lot of friends who are Coleraine supporters and Glentoran have fucked them over in the last two seasons with their money. Complaining about Linfield is kettle calling 'Black arse' to the pot.
Glentoran agreed a pre contract in the January of that year, signed him when his contract was up then very graciously allowed him to move on for the chance of a full time career-well done Glens. Now, I fucking hate the Glentoran board-thieving corrupt bastards but in this case I think they did the right thing.Linfield on the other hand receive hundreds of thousands a year from a variety of cunts a year (not counting the ones wearing red, white and blue) be it the government, UEFA or the shower of shit that is the IFA. This enables them to have seven full time players in a part time league-tosspots.

Have you seen the state of the Oval recently? Linfield put all government money into upgrading Windsor, there are conditions attached to the money. It doesn't go into Linfield's coffers.
If Windsor wasn't up to UEFA and FIFA standards, where would Northern Ireland play their home games? Dublin or Cardiff?
The Oval is a tip, mainly due to the no good directors siphoning off money when the Glens had some big pay days from transfers and tv deals when we used to be able to draw European heavyweights and regularly did-earning big cash from advertising in the ground and tv rights. However, if you think all the money Linfield receive goes into the ground you are naive. Even if it was they have no overheads that the rest do re ground upkeep, the IFA pays them huge amounts to use Windsor which doesn't have any conditions attached allowing them spend more on wages than the rest of the league combined.

about 350,000 a year the blues get,then the ifa pay for upkeep themselves,then thanks to harry cavan who got them their 99 year contract on northern ireland matches its easy money to upkeep a shit hole,sport and politics no connection eh!
their gates would have improved even better if they were given their fare share of the pot,as howard wells was about to reveal,but they kicked him out before he got the final say,he got 500,000 compensation and said he will come back and finish the job he started but i dont think they will somehow let him,funny that?
