Hearing aids of that time were ear trumpets weren't they? Which would have been plainly visible! Also who was she talking to then? Mind you if it was a mobile phone she couldn't have been talking to anyone as there were obviously no masts, however, maybe she just went back in time and did for the craic?!
lol looks like someone scratching their ear to me, couldnt see any device, just looked like a shadow. If it was a phone why would she be holding it with two fingers bent round the top, most likley covering the ear piece.
