Wasteful again yesterday in front of goal Billy being the main culprit he had a host of chances to bury Wolves. He cant seem to keep his shots down i like him he has flair but his finishing at times leaves a lot to be desired. We had the lions share of the game our build up play was fine although im at a loss as to why Coleman and Rodwell are not playing.Im not disputing the foul on Heitinga that led to the equalizer as we should in fairness have the measure of a team like Wolves but once again we make it hard for ourselves. So one point from two against so so opposition our usual poor start im afraid.

You can have and create as many chances as you want, first hour you had enough to win two games, debatable foul in the build up to our goal, ref didn't pull play back, good counter attack goal from Ebanks-Blake. I also thought instead of your goal and the award of a free-kick, it was a penalty. Having the measure of a team like Wolves?? three games now, you've had the majority of the ball created plenty but can't finish us off. I'd have taken a point before kick off so i'm happy.

from an everton website about game yesterday
from a few different everton fans replying to each other
person 1 - If most of the players dont bother to turn up in the first half of the season, season after season why should the fans
person 2 - Perfect logic, can't see any flaws in your plan.
person 3 - If your Dad had that attitude then he would have pulled out and you wouldn't be posting pointless drivel right now would you.
Thought that answer was quite good-just goes on a touch more

Better last night some great finishes Sahas the pick of the bunch. At last he plays Rodwell and Coleman and look what happens alright it was only Huddersfield but our football was terrific the movement and crossing thanks to the attacking Coleman was spot on.This boy has got to start most games for us you cant beat an attacking fullback with the quality that this young lad has.

Coleman should start every game instead of hibbert for me,very good as you say up and down the pitch, but knowing moyes coleman will no doubt be back to the bench sunday,i would also give Gueye/Rodwell start's-gueye's good enough for me-he will only get experience playing prem games not just the cup-would leave saha on bench as thats his 1st goal since the 2 in feb v chelsea.

Everton's home clash with Manchester United has been switched.
The game will take place on Saturday, 11 September at 12.45pm
not the sunday at 1,30pm as previously-still on sky i think.

The Villa today tough game- not i reckon they are there for the taking even though we have a shite record at Villa Park they were walloped last week with Milner gone and no manager they are a mess so a win is on the cards and we need to start winning so today would be a good start 3-1 i hope

We're passing the ball well but we're hardly giving Beckford or Cahill any openings ... Arteta seems to be too casual today too .. Moysey really needs to fire them up at half time or we're gonna lose again

How the heck didnt everton win that game, everton were way on top and apart from the odd break from villa, they did nothing, very annoying again even the villa goal was our fault as fellaini missed the ball completely and our defenders were no were around young for the goal.

That's three league matches in a row we've basically dominated possession .. only this time we actually created chances but we need natural finishers and out and out wingers. Rodders for all his qualities is not a wide player and I'm surprised Moysey kept him there and didn't switch him with Arteta. It's not coincidence we started playing better when young Coleman came on, though usually a full-back, but a natural wide player who ran at Villa.
The difference between Saha and Beckford was so bloody obvious too .. Beckford was trying fancy dan tricks in the middle of nowhere on the wings near the halfway line instead of running proper channels and creating spaces, which Saha actually managed to do.
We need to take more chances and take first time shots ... Baines had a fantastic match but I can't help but think he could have had a couple of shots himself instead of trying to pick out a pass. Cahill can wallop them and Rodders proved last year in the Europa League he's got a good boot on him too.
We really need to get our season started very soon or we're gonna miss out on Europe yet again .. and we're only 3 games in :/

Yep its really frustrating for us blues we should have won comfortably today ,maybe its our wretched luck at villa in the prem we are playing so well this is what i cant get my head around. Its vital to start well in the prem again weve not done this if we were playing dour stuff i can live with it but christ our football has been good and we have yet to play one of the top teams .It cant be down to confidence we are playing ok its just the frigging Everton way we always make it hard for ourselves..

Must admit you were playing excellent passing / attacking football and although you didn't get the win you should be happy with that form going into United game. The second half was a cracker. Saha made an impact when he came on and Peinnar unlucky off the bar and a couple of good saves as well from Friedel to boot. Villa defended very well for seemed like half hour there and commentator said it was your 16th corner...

Not done anything that I've heard of .. but wondering if Moysey intends to field youngsters like Shane Duffy more with Yobo leaving.
Really hope this doesn't come back to haunt us re: injuries

Yep and havent we had enough of them over the last 12 months Duffy has played well when needed but he must be happy with the squad to let Yobo go maybe Hibbo will be next
