Well done Everton...aussie power scoring again. We'll need Cahill even more now since our other probable world cup striker Archie thompson blew his knee out in last weeks grand final and he's out for 12 months...

What is it with us and these frigging injuries Dan Gosling is out for 9 yes nine months every player who seems to get injured at Everton lately seems to be a long term casualty its fucken frustrating.Talking of frustrating was the draw against Wolves Mick Mcarthy did give us credit though saying we were the best team that has visited Molineux this season .West Ham on sunday a game which we should win given their current plight 2-0 me thinks.

Poor Jags he only goes and does it again against the twating Villa who i cant stand, injury time daft header to give them a share of the spoils after two fine headers by you know who.Remember that back pass a few seasons back we did ride our luck at times though if truth be told Howard made some crucial saves but it was two points dropped late on yet again...

Well it was a season of if only for us a nightmare start that at one stage looked relegation trouble. The injuries we had accounted for that poor opening to the campaign. But we finished the season with form as good as the top 2,Portsmouth yesterday with billy scoring a cracker in injury time completing a remarkable 2nd half of the season.Disapointments were the loss to brum in the cup and the euro exit we just cant seem to do well in the Europa even when we are on form which is remarkable how a team like Fulham can reach the final and we bow out early.I think with Spurs getting that 4th place we might have a problem with Pienaar staying but i am conviced that will be our target and we should get close to it providing we keep the nucleus of the squad.

I have to say finishing 8th after only losing 2 prem games since 30th november of our final 24 games taking 39 points from the final 57 points [19 games] is some going considering we lost 7 of our first 14,we were even in 16 place in the middle of november and have top 3 form as usual from everton when the new year starts,we also have the highest ever total not to get you a euro place after finishing 8th,
think pienaar might stay but if he does not sign his contract in the next few months think we should get rid and not have another lescott like last season, cahill is about to sign a 4 year contract with others to follow and by what moyes says it looks like we are going to try to sign a forward or 2 - one possible been beckford probably as a sub
august 14th cant come quick enough and the new fixtures are out next month
and what a goal to win the game v portsmouth yesterday http://www.matchhighlight.com/premie...-0-portsmouth/

Everton down under.
Pre season games for the Aussie tour.
We will take on A-League champions Sydney FC on 10 July, at the ANZ Stadium. We will then head to Melbourne on 14 July to take on the newly-formed Melbourne Heart at the Etihad Stadium before concluding the tour with a game at the Suncorp Stadium against the Brisbane Roar.

Jack Rodwell has signed a new improved five year deal that will keep him at Goodison until 2015 which is great news for all blues fans. Was getting a bit worried with the Utd link.Havent heard anything on Arteta but Pienaar talks have broken down and is a worry but the Rodwell signing is major...

pienaar talks have not broke down,he just wants more than what sounds like everton are offering at the minute,i would sell now to stop him leaving at the last minute or leaving for nothing to stop the cat and mouse game-he should be loyal to us as we have made him the player he has turned into as he was rubbish before even at times with us,rodwell was never leaving he still had 3 or 4 years left on his old contract-he just basically got a big pay hike for reaching set amount of games and his contract is really one extra year

Everton have signed prolific striker Jermaine Beckford.
The 26-year old frontman has penned a four-year deal at Goodison Park after being released from his contract with Leeds United last week.
Scorer of 31 goals last season, Beckford had been linked with several top-flight sides but Everton moved quickly to secure his signature.
He passed a medical at Finch Farm and will join his new team-mates when they reconvene after the summer break.
The London-born centre-forward was a massive success during his three-year stay at Elland Road - scoring 31 goals last season to help fire the club to promotion, including the winning strike in the crucial last game against Bristol Rovers and, of course, he knocked Manchester United out of the FA Cup at Old Trafford.
He was subsequently named as the League One Player of the Year, an accolade he also collected in 2008.
Beckford began his career as a youngster at Chelsea but failed to break into the first team and after being released from Stamford Bridge he drifted into non-league football with Wealdstone.
His sensational form soon attracted Football League scouts and he joined Leeds United in March 2006, where, after loan spells at Carlisle and S****horpe, he established himself as a goalscorer of genuine quality.
I think he will do well with us and i think its a good signing.

With the arrival of Beckford The Yaks days are numbered West Ham have tabled a 4 million bid for the unfit lump of lard get rid i say.On the Beckford signing he has a temprement problem i think he can be lazy as well but Moysie has been after him for a while he will sort him out hes on a free anyway. On Pienaar still think he will leave Man City are now interested him although he has praised Moysie on EFC for giving him his break and well respects him same can be said of Lescott and look what happened to him megabucks Man City will probably treble his wage offer lets see where peanuts loyalty lies after the World Cup..

Weve got in early again..
Everton have signed striker Joao Silva from Portuguese side Desportivo Das Aves.
Blues officials flew to Portugal this week to conclude the transfer and the 20-year-old has now penned a three-year deal, signing for an undisclosed fee.
Last season Silva was the second top scorer in the Liga Vitalis, Portugal's second tier.
The 6'2" forward scored 14 goals in 32 appearances for Aves last term, which was his first season since graduating to the professional ranks.
Silva has played for his country's Under-20 side and is highly rated in his homeland

Everton have turned down £7 million from West Ham for Yakubu. It's in the Daily Mail so might be lies.

After watching the opening match of the WC, quite glad that Pienaar didn't have the best of games ... hopefully this'll put people off trying to sign him.
Also, apparently Moysey will be a pundit on Radio Five Live tomorrow so it'll be interesting to hear what comments he might have about our players on the shop window, especially Pienaar

yeah he's part of the bbc team for the world cup and in a way agree with you about pienaar, thought the same if he plays well in this W/C he will get a move he seems to want, but if he signs a new contract after the world cup with us he will say he never wanted to leave and he was only putting the W/C 1st which means he will have been bad at the W/C,as said before if he takes to long i would sell now so he does'nt just leave for a small fee or nothing,i also dont think yakubu will leave unless we have someone big to replace him as beckford will need to adjust to prem life and saha if he gets injured will be out for forever knowing our luck with injuries we had last season anyway roll on 10am british time next thrusday morning for the new seasons games
