Birmingham today who are on a great run at the moment but we have a great record against them down the years and we need the points today badly.Rodwell is out as is JO but Cahill is back after his suspension any scoreline will do as long as we win lol..

everton 1 birmingham 1 , a good performances from most , bily on the scoresheet again with a great goal , felliani went asleep for the birmingham equalizer , saha goal was a good goal no way was that offside , with some better finishing , and refeereing decisions 3-1 would of been a fair result , i thought birmingham defended brilliantly , going forward were poor , but another 2 points dropped , piennar and osman were best players on the pitch by far , i just think we lacked inventivness in last 3rd , hurry back arteta !!

The 1st 25 minutes we should have been about 6-0 up at least, the saha goal was onside by a mile and that would have been 2-0 in the 7th minute, there goal was a great finish but that was there 1st shot at goal as they were never out there half, the goal changed the game slighlty in 1st half as they slowly got bk into the match, and the handball probably was a pen but watching normal speed you would not guess it was palmed away by hand as no one reacted or claimed for a pen as i thought saha got there first like most to head wide, very good performance in a game we were well on top in,and we now go to sunderland were we have won the last 4 on boxing day.

A much needed win yesterday against Burnley moves us up the table for now.We have been playing well of late and should have won our last 3 games comfortably, up until the last 10 mins i thought here we go again another draw but Vaughnie and pienaar calmed the nerves.Nev returned but Cahill limped off, with more of our first team starting to return we are looking a better unit.Personally id start with Vaughan if hes match fit all the time now he has great pace which we need up front he is deffo another option now for moysie but a good win for us at last..

everton 2 burnley 0 , finally a win under our belts , but for 80 mins at 0-0 , i fought the same as evertone , here we go again another draw , we needed a win against a team who away from home have picked up 1 point , and with a bit of luck we got when the ball went threw a pack of legs , vaughanie was there to tap in , finished of with an injury time 2nd from piennar , great goal as well , as i said before all our injuries are clearing and a good 2nd half of the season is needed , can we make top 6 im hoping , it will be hard and hopefully we can do it . yobo and yakubu will be at african of nations so hurry back jagielka , and a couple of loan signings needed at the back

Fine performance from the team yesterday at a snowy Emirates with a bit of luck we should have won Vaughnie missing a glorious chance to bury Arsenal after Pienaar scored a cheeky but clever 2nd.We bossed the middle of the park with Fellaini having his best game of the season, Donavon also had a good game, Osman with the opener which was coming a mile off as we went straight at the gunners from the start Saha peppered the goal we were a threat everytime we came forward something Arsenal usually do to us.The deflections you cant do anything about them but it was great to see us have a go at a team which weve had some pastings off ie the opening day massacre. We are improving at last and yesterdays performance bodes well for the rest of the season another F.A cup run on the cards me thinks ..coybs

Dominant performance against an in form Man City proves we have finally clicked into gear this season. Fellaini again was a tower of strength in the middle and ran the show with an impressive performance.Pienaars opener from a freekick should have opened up the floodgates for more goals as we bombarded the city goal Billy could have scored a hat-trick alone with some fine build up play. The Saha penalty you could say was a bit harsh but the 2-0 half-time score justified a fine performance from all the team. This Donavon guy is proving his worth to the side with him and pienaar playing some great stuff and lets not forget Cahill who rattled the bar with a brilliant header late 2nd half, but it was a top notch performance probably the best so far this season..

Everton's manager, David Moyes, has renewed his interest in Philippe Senderos as he searches for defensive cover after Lucas Neill's unexpected move to Galatasaray. James Vaughan could be on his way out of Goodison which is a shame i like the player but Moyses is after Beckford of Leeds watch this space. Some good news on the injury front Gosling and Rodwell could play on the weekend against Birmingham in the cup and Mikel Arteta, out for a year with a cruciate knee injury, hopes to make his Everton comeback against Liverpool on February 6.

Brazilian striker Jo has left Everton and returned to Manchester City.
Jo was then immediately loaned by City to Galatasaray, with the turkish team taking the 22-year-old until the end of the season.
He scored twice in 24 appearances this season, following a similar six-month loan spell last term,On the beckford thing im sure players cant sign a pre-contract if the 2 clubs are from the same country despite what's been in papers, and i would not loan vaughan out or sell him

After the disappointment of going out of the cup against Birmingham last weekend weve bounced back with two prem wins. The Sunderland game Howard saved our skins with two fine saves we could have easily let the two goal lead slip as we struggled 2nd half at times to get out of our own half.Yesterday against Wigan for the first 15/20 mins i was bored to death thinking this has 0-0 written all over it but Saha fashioned some good chances,Howard made a good save from Rodallega it wasnt until the dying seconds when Nzogbia hit the crossbar with a stinging shot that he was troubled all afternoon.Fellainis second half goal was wrongly disallowed but the Cahill goal was class coming from deep he had all the space in the world to bullet a header home and with it the three points which we deserved. Can we get into Europe again this season after a terrible start well after the next 4 games Liverpool-Chelsea-Man u-Tottenham and in between those games we play Sporting Lisbon in Europe so its gonna be tough but we are in form so who knows.

I agree the 1st bit looked like a 0-0,but ended up beind end to end most of the game, wigan had 2 very good 1 on 1 chance's with Jason Scotland been one of them that they should have scored, thought we should have been give a pen when saha was brought down tho,as you say fellaini's goal was perfect and not offside, the ref was a farce yesterday i thought [he replaced the original ref just before game started],and i was half expecting him to disallow the cahill goal the game he was having, even tho we got a throw in that we should'nt have that led to corner which we scored from, been honest think next week's game will end 1-1,think we nearly always seem to lose at home to chelsea, who seem to have there own goal of the season comptetion when they visit Goodison,we are on our longest unbeaten league run since at least march 2008 right now with Liverpool being our last league defeat on November 30 in a game we deserved to win that day which started our season for me.

everton are back to form , players coming back , and arteta and jags almost there , we are keeping clean sheets at the moment , which is what we were doing when we qualified for champions league , champions league is to far away for this season , but europa cup can still be achieved , and what a great month coming up , home ......to man utd , chelsea , sporting lisbon , and away.......to liverpool , spurs and sporting lisbon , and i cant wait , if we can get threw february with a couple of wins and draws , then top 6 can be achieved , starting at liverpool and i honestly think everton can go to anfield and beat them , just a shame of all the injuries we have had , because if the injuries were kept down to minimal then champions league would be a definite

First the good news Saha has signed a new two year deal.
Now the bad news Moysie has won manager of the month award for January which puts he kiss of death on todays game lol.Ive gone for a 2-2 draw with Cahill as first goalscorer at 90/1.Lets hope we can play as well as we did at Goodison this season and keep our run going.

We blew it yesterday big time we had a great chance to beat Liverpool after the sending off which i thought was harsh as Fellaini challenge was just as bad.Cahills late first half header aside we were piss poor suprising really as we have been playing well, yesterday though was a golden chance to put one over on the reds sadly we just didnt have enough in us to stamp our class on the game.Pienaars challenge was terrible and im amazed he was allowed to stay on the park he always seems to get into trouble in these derby games i think his sending off was more to do with that tackle .The game as a whole at times it was two teams battering the hell out of one another real toe to toe stuff like the old derby games you wondered how many would finnish the game sadly for us it passed us by after Kuyts winner..

having watched the game and seen the highlights (lowlights) it was a terrible advertisement for the premiership you could argue that derbies are all the same but Man Utd v Man City recently were 3 great games so thats bullpoo! Did anyone notice how much cheating Gerrard did yesterday? One for the Pinear sending off and also for a free kick outside the box for gods sake why doesn't anyone ever sort him out
