We are in talks with newcastle's talyor sky say,and echo says we are trying to do a deal for spartak moscow right winger vladimir bystrov for 9 million, but onto game, they should have had 100% at least 2 pens probably 3 and baines was not a pen for me,at most in direct free kick as it was more a shoulder barge, some good goals by everton after a bad start, but should be a normal 2nd leg as long as moyes does not make to many changes

Wolves get 6 million for it as well i think,i didnt think we did that well today apart from last 20 minutes when we only started to play before that we did nothing even tho stats off the match say otherwise, for the pen on 1st viewing its a pen but when slowed down hibbert probably makes a slight meal of it,but saha hit it wide in any case the keeper dived the right way and probably would have saved it,we started the match slow again and should have been 2 down in the first 4 minutes and burnley scored when we just about getting into the game a little more.

Im not to sure about both players but as you say they will strengthen our squad Distin is a replacement for Lescott moysie was going to sign Taylor from newcastle but went for the experienced Distin time will tell for both signings. As for lescott he is a money grabbing twat but who can blame him with a double your wage offer there is no loyalty in football now its all about the money and city have it by the shedload im sure they will piss off many other supporters in the future with their deals

BENFICA will be too strong for you - home DRAW or LOSS and away YOU WILL LOSE.
AEK Athens and BATE are teams that you SHOULD beat home and away

Everton can take Benfica. Not sure why you're so certain they'd lose to them home or away. I'd say they're a similar strength club.

Came back well today against Wigan a last gasp penalty by Baines sealed a nervy win for our first points of the season. We had the lions share of the game but was wasteful at times in front of goal Rodwell should have scored after the ball rebounded from a Jo shot and Cahill should have done better with a pinpoint cross from Hibo but put it wide.Wigan who we usually hammer were trying to break up our play with some rash challenges i lost count of the bookings they had even Moysie copped it with Henry Thomas taking him out on the touchline it was hillarious.Howard had hardly anything to do that was until Scharner who always seems to score against us headed Wigan in front. At that stage i was fearing the worst but minutes later Saha calmed the nerves with a header from a baines corner to make it 1-1.In the dying stages of the game Wigan should have scored they had a 5 on 2 break Sinclair went for glory and messed up big time, then came the late late drama as Jo was bundled over in the box 2-1 and utter relief.
ps..i believe we have signed heitinger from A. Madrid..

Fee agreed, wages need to be sorted 1st which is easier said than done with everton,Todays game was a must win and we did win this game in the end which we fully deserved,as you said some bad fouls including the one on pienaar in 2nd half which nearly snaped him in half - could have been straight red,the sinclair chance in the 92nd minute was actually a very good save from Tim howard with his outstretched foot when all sinclair had to do was pass to any of the 4 players availalbe to the left for a tap in,i listened to Roberto Martinez saying he would have been disapoined with a point, our poor finishing at times give wigan a chance as howard did nothing apart from picking the ball out the net and making that save, wigan didnt deserve anything at all so no idea how he would have been disapointed at getting a point, although they hit the outside of the post a minute after going 1 up

Fine win tonight with a patched up side against BATE in the europa league. From the off we pressed well against the Belarus side with billy hitting a cracker against the post on 15 mins at that stage our midfield was running the show. But they took the lead with a superb long range shot Howard had no chance,Cahill had a chance to level the scores on the half hour but missed just yards out.The rain was constant during the game on a miserable evening but after soaking up some pressure second half we levelled a Baines freekick was met by a totally unmarked fellaini 1-1.The night got even better minutes later Cahill with a smart finish 2-1 we rode out a rocky final 10mins when they came at us all guns blazing but we held firm for a fine win and are now top of the pile and should qualify out of this group.

Struggled badly last night with a depleted squad against a strong Benfica side. First half i thought we played quite well Billy hit a peach of a volley that just dipped over our movement and general play was fine without really threatning them a draw was obviously our aim.All that went out of the window at the start of the second half with three crazy goals in the space of seven minutes, the everton faithful that travelled to the game had seen enough and quite a few left so early in the game.We just couldnt cope on the left with crosses that were pinpoint to score from hopefully we will have a stronger team within the next few weeks ,our form in the prem is not to clever lately but there have been some strange results so far in the prem this season which suggests no game is easy roll on Bolton and lets hope for some improvement..

bolton 2 everton 1 ...half time .......another depleted squad for this game , noone on the bench of any note to bring on later in the game ....2-0 down within 30 minutes , defence looking very bad , doing nothing upfront , very poor , then last 15 minites of first half , great saha goal , great strike , could of had another 3 as well , heres hoping for good 2nd half from the blues !!!

Before you finish your report-gosling what were you doing,if he made his mine up in a 3 on 2,it would have been him scoring a winner or passing left for a tap in for 1 of 2 everton players for us to be 3-2 up with 15 minutes to go

bolton 3 everton 2, i thought we were so unlucky , we could of had 4 or 5 in end , defensivly we are struggling , with hettinga off injured that 12 1st teamers out now , with spurs away in carling cup on tuesday , gosling played well today fishtoast , but what was he doing when he got threw , 5 yard pass to the left and it would of been 3-2 up , we didnt deserve to loose today , but we need players back very soon , with spurs , benfica and aston villa coming up in next week or so , saha was different class today
