Good riddance 'king' louis
Good riddance 'king' louis.
I agree he is a good player when he can be arsed, the thing is, lately he cant be arsed!
And that is not acceptable for the club and the fans!
Lets face it lads, the money he's on.......
As for the Sitteh win, probably the best we've played (2nd half) all season.
Knowing us though, we'll get turned over at Wigan! COYB

Wigan vs Everton
I'm feeling quite optimistic for a change today, a good performance and a 1-3 win will do nicely thank you COYFBB

Everton 2 Chelsea 0
Wonderful performance by everyone - admittedly against a Chelsea team devoid of confidence but who cares?
Big Denis - not the most skilful of strikers but he makes up for it by sheer determination and a never-say-die attitude that reminded me of Joe Royle's Dogs of War side. If only he had been match fit earlier in the season, we may not have won more matches but we sure as hell would have hurt more defenders!
Actually dreading, a little, when Landon leaves .. he's been even better this loan period and Steve Pienaar - welcome home, all is forgiven!

I always thought today was a very good chance of us beating chelsea, but thought we would blow it and end 1-1,funny though that the last time we won 2 goodison league games in a row was v man city and chelsea last may and we just did the same now

QPR 1 Everton 1
Everton been everton and with a great chance to move closer to the teams above them as usual mess up,in a 1st half which i though was a very good game to watch,we finally got the goal ahead via drenthe which was a beauty only for him to then hack down the qpr player for a free kick on the wing, which led to the goal we conceeded were we could have defended better really, then right on Half time i dont think you will ever see a worst miss-QPR somehow failing to score with an open goal,2nd half we were really toothless i thought and didnt look bothered really, anyway its the everton way and think we were a touch lucky to get a point

Agree fishtoast.
I noticed a squirrel on the pitch a few times during the 1st half.
Just before half time, I noticed Phil Neville was playing!

fishtoast well said , just wish moysie would start with a 4-4-2 formation given us a bit more going forward , we need to sign drenthe on a permanent deal , hes been quality most of the season and scoring a good goal at QPR , but needs to stop hes stupid fouling , hes reminding me of a paul scholes with his tackling , good to see players coming back for this game , and hopefully a good finish to the season , what positions get you in europa cup this season ....etc in league and FACUP ??

Moyes does not like drenthe and vice/verse 100 and 50 million % truth,no matter what you hear on camera, drenthe nearly missed the train home saturday from QPR,yes we got the train home, because he wondered off just before the train was leaving

So maybe the rumour a couple of months ago that Dr Drenthe had Moyes by the throat had a bit of truth in it.
If I was Moyes i'd stick him up front behind Jelly or 'the Count' so the lad doesn't have to defend as much.
And get him to stand on the halfway line when we're defending corners to give us an out-ball. (pet hate of mine, all 11 players in the area )
His pace has defenders shitting themselves.

Thats 100% not true,They have never had hold of each other etc-fighting etc, just hate each other drenthe loves the fans and the players, the reason as well why barkley has not been in the team/squad most of the season when half the fans think he should be is because and i think i said here, moyes punished him for conceeding the pen at Blackburn and let rip at him after the match that day

Well if he did rip into Ross after the game, he's not the great manager people say he is. I mean, unless Ross was blatantly ignoring instructions (which I doubt) Moyes should have just had a word with the lad.
It wouldn't have done his confidence any good.
And is it just me, or does he look a bit low on confidence or something lately.

Agree with you about all 11 back-Arsenal do it and its bloody stupid, ball gets cleared then comes straight back, its even worse when playing the knuckle draggers from the Potteries cos they make the penalty area like vegetable soup there are so many of them in there. Will be interesting when we play next week-both doing the same bloody thing.
