Our season finally kicks off tomorrow against QPR ... hopefully 3 points.

Not expecting much this season .. hopefully a top ten and a decent cup run.

In the meantime, Moyesy has said we're not a selling club:

We are not a buying club and never buy anyone for the last few years anyway

,think we will easy be in top 10 and think 7th for me,8th at worst for us,Just hope we dont hear this Kenwright rubbish week after week after week,its boring the heck out of me everywhere i go its moaning about him and buy this that and everyone

excuses and blaming him will be used tomorrow if we lose think 2-0 myself probably after making very hard work of it.

Thats the good thing no one will expect things from us and even when we do no one outside cares anyway

only when we do bad do we get a mention,so we always do better than what people say and still have all the players we have and they are not exactly bad players they just need to know what to do with the ball

Utter utter shite. Young Ross Barkley was the only positive on the pitch for the Blues. The senior players should be ashamed of themselves.

And I said all last season, Beckford is NOT a Premiership player .. he's barely a Championship player.

Dixie must be turning over in his grave to see who our first choice centre forward is.

Beckford is not giving any passes to run on to most of the games,he makes most of the things he does himself,look at saha was he on the pitch

infact was any of our players on the pitch

think we should find 11 people of the street for next weeks prem game as our 11 dont seem to know each other to well

todays goal was sponsored by phil Jagielka who's pass straight to their player set them on the way -this is everton we will lose to teams we expect to beat and beat teams we expect to lose to-cahill somehow missed an open goal,baines free kick was unlucky

A couple of times .. Rodwell, Osman, Baines, Cahill .. they all made good runs .. and seemed to notice it was only Beckford ahead of them for the pass, and chose to pass to someone else or go it alone.

Sort of sums it up really.

If ever we didn't deserve a win it was today. Besides Bainesy (as usual) and Howard, we were truly dreadful.

One of the most undeserved everton wins ive ever seen,never ever looked like we would score and leaving beckford on bench till 5mins from end and making no subs at ht when we had done nothing at all 1st half,and yet we started the 2nd half so bad it just looked like it was only a matter of time till Blackburn scored that 2nd half early on

We lost Arteta but 10 mill was a good amount for a player who hasn't really shone the last couple of seasons. Offloading Beckford for 4 mill was good business too. He tried (hard?) but was clearly out of his depth in the EPL. Probably the worse striker we've had since the legendary days of Brett Angell.

Not sure about Yak tbh .. sure he was slow and couldn't score for shit anymore for us, but at least he could hold the ball up, unlike Beckford.

We've signed some Argie striker on loan though .. Denis Stracqualursi. Anyone know anything about him besides a decent last season?

It's going to be a long season ...

How can beckford be a bad forward,he was in top 5 in goals to mins played ratio in the top 5 leagues he does more than saha does ie runs etc and was never giving the run of games the other rubbish we have are given-saha stands and does nothing most games,saha is always injured and but should be back for villa game he thinks and annichbe
