Egyptian Violence
Totally mad for a football match. At least 74 dead.

...from what they are saying today it seems to have alot more to do with the recent status of the country as a whole rather than a footy match. Shame for Egypt, after all they are the best team in Africa by a mile...

Yeah was hearing its more the political alliances of the supporters rather than a general hatred.

Seems like the Al Ahly Ultras were involved in attacking the police during the recent upheavals. Does this explain the half-heartedness of the police response?

Do you really think so? They are only in the second tier of qualifications for the 2013 ACN.

Egyptian PM dissolved FA

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...ragedy?cc=4716

Will this mean FIFA bans Egypt for government involvement? Being the numbnuts they are, I'm sure they will.

And then Blatter will say they should have all just shaken hands...
