I can't verify this story but it IS pretty amazing if it is true.
Russian side Alania Vladikavkaz have amazingly qualified for the Russian Cup final without scoring a goal.
The team from the foothills of the Caucasus mountains play in Russia's second tier and entered the competition at the last-32 stage where they faced an away tie against KAMAZ Naberezhnye Chelny.
The matched finished 0-0 after extra-time but Alania won 4-2 on penalties to move into the last 16 where they again played out a 0-0 draw before triumphing 5-4 on penalties against Gornyak Uchaly.
In the quarter-finals they were drawn to meet FC Saturn Moscow Oblas but received a bye straight into the semi-finals when their opponents went bankrupt in the winter of 2011.
That gave them a last-four tie with Rostov on Wednesday to make it into the final - and they repeated their old trick of drawing 0-0 before winning on penalties, this time 6-5.
Alania will now face CSKA Moscow in the final after they beat city rivals Spartak 5-4 in a penalty shootout after an exciting 3-3 draw.
Vladikavkaz famously won the Russian title in 1995 but this is the first time they will play in the Russian Cup final.
