Personally I don't celebrate xmas. 1, I'm not religious and I don't celebrate any other religions celebrations so I don't see why xmas should be any different,
2, I don't hAve wife or kids to worry about and even If I did i would bring my kids up to not have a xmas and just buy them presents for being good etc, not some fat bloke who creeps down your chimney at night and leaves you presents for being a 'good little boy' all sounds a bit paedo to me if i'm honest,
3, the commercialisation of xmas is ridiculous, shops in my opinion shouldn't even be allowed to advertise xmas stuff until December, my local co op had xmas stuff out at the beginning of october ! By the time xmas gets here you're glad to see the back of it cause it's taken up a quarter of the year, ridiculous !
4, fucking wankers at work fretting over what to get their mother/father/boyfriend who they wont be with next year/girlfriend who they wont be with next year/ granny/grandad,uncle/aunt etc etc, saying stuff like 'I hate xmas, wish I didn't have to buy anything' here's something then, DON'T FUCKING BUY ANYTHING YOU FUCKING MORON ! "Oh but I have to, i'd never be forgiven" THEN THE PEOPLE WHO WON'T FORGIVE YOU FOR STANDING UP TO YOUR BELIEFS ARE NOT FUCKING WORTH KNOWING THEN ARE THEY? !!
5, Personally i think those people who are not religious but celebrate xmas are hypocrites, don't see them celebrating ramadan, the passover or any other religious celebrations because mainly these don't involve spending money on their materialistic ideals, but as long as it involves getting an ipod or an iphone or an HD tv, or a laptop then bring it on. Kind of says a lot about the world we live in really, especially the western world.
Luckily i'm pissing off to Barcelona this year to visit friends who don't celebrate it either so can escape from it completely.
I Fucking hate xmas. If Jesus did die on the cross for everyone he'd be fucking disgusted with the way xams is celebrated in this day and age and rightly so.
Rant over.

It's looks like a bargain but do yourself a favour and say to your mum you've given £100 to the homeless this year instead of buying xmas presents and keep it for her birthday, she'd be proud I'm sure

Wow toffee... you need to be visited by 3 ghosts. Whether you like Christmas or not, it does no harm to anyone so let it slide. Its like moaning that May they start putting out summer clothes in shops even though its technically still Spring.
Christmas = family, friends, good food, fine drink, parties and good will. Whats wrong with that?

I'm neither here nor there with x-mas. If it was me and the missus ourselves no doubt it will be a couple of silly gifts nothing more. Probably enjoy the fact that we both have time off work to spend time together . As it is there are kids and grandchildren so the day is for them to enjoy themselves (more so the grandkids). And its good to have all the inlaws round at least once a year.

Is ok if you have kids as you get he pleasure of seeing the look of excitement on their faces and get to play with the toys lol ,ill stick some decorations up and try to be festive . So for now all im wishing for is all the pups to survive , hopefully ill get a guitar out of it lol If i dont ill buy a turkey and pluck that fucker
