Yes definately, we also would have been on maximum points if it were not for an injury time equaliser (once again) by Pompey on opening day. Was very pleased with a 1-0 victory away to Leeds in game 2. A solid win away to Walsall in the league cup in between and a striker very much in form already in Emnes so looking ok so far. I fancy us to be dark horses this season... I hope I'm right.

I didn't want to tempt fate but it's so positive at the moment, like Poyet said it's dreamland. Great to see all the strikers in the goals and the 2 new strikers settling in straight away. They both look class, oh and a certain Mr Buckley in midfield too. Exciting times, it's like last season has just carried on in a different league. Mind you its a marathon not a sprint so like I say don't want to get too carried away with results. The first 2 games we didn't play great but got wins, however last night we were the better team against a good team. Watch out MFC we will give you a good fight.
We have a toughie at home against Blackpool on Saturday and can't wait for that one.
I don't think there are many easy teams in this league, any can cause an upset.Leeds bounced back as they always do, boooooo.
Can't believe the start that Saints have had too, and are carrying it on 5-2 win away at the Tractor boys, great result that. They have an excellent squad and I think they will do well this year and keep their form going.
There are so many good teams in this league and I think it's great for football and entertainment.

Hey Jake, bad luck today there mate. A right pisser when a last minute goal stops you from having a 100% record. Still a good start though, I bet you'd have taken 10 points from the first 3 games before the season started?
We've had a good start so far too, a great result in midweek away to Barnsley and another goal for Emnes too! Tomorrow will be a good test as an early indication as to how far we can go this season I think. We're at home to Birmingham. Should be a tough game but fingers crossed for a win anyway, 1-0 will do me. If we win by more than 1 goal we'll leap frog Brighton into 3rd, but I wont say that cos I'll tempt fate ha ha!
Can't believe the start Southampton have had like! Never expected that at the start of the season. Two of the current top 3 are promoted clubs, maybe teams have been underestimating them? I thought Brighton might do alright like but are the Saints that good? At least you get surprises like this in this league.
Also wish I'd watched the Peterborough - Ipswich game now like I was going to, talk about a bad day at the office eh!

Must admit more than happy to have the 10 points. Great start that we need to keep going. I think the momentum of the stadium is carrying us along at the moment. We have great players and manager though so it's not just that.
Blackpool deserved their point today, Phillips was class.
Saints have some good players and I think they under performed last season, I hope no other Brighton fans are reading this as they won't agree. There are a lot of young good players there so think they will be upper table come the end. That’s if they can keep the players, Arsenal have nicked one already.
Ipswich have been hammered twice in a week, wtf is going on there. Jewell won’t be there much longer at that rate.
I would say good luck tomorrow but I just can’t bring myself to say it! All the time I see Brighton near the top half of the table I am happy.
Far more exciting league than the boring premier league.

Can't blame ya really not wishing us luck lol! Really hope we get a good result tomorrow, Mowbray's done superb as far as I'm concerned since he came here, just wish he had some financial backing instead of that cnut Strachan wasting it all when we had the money. Just shows what a good manager he is really having done what he's done with little to no cash.
Hopefully the Boro and Brighton can keep coming up with these results and giving us both an exciting season ahead.
Brighton are my second team now in the Championship. Still hope we fuck 'em up when we play 'em though

Great result today for the Boro, won 3-1 and deservedly so, we were all over them. I thought it was gonna be a hard game for us that one. Really hope this can continue. Would love to be able to watch my team every week online lol! That's the prize isn't it.
Sorry Jake man but we got that 2 goal victory so now it's us sitting pretty in 3rd, now the rivalry has really begun!

Not seen it yet mate. I was reading about Martin on Wikipedia the other week, apparently he's one of those players who's very cool and composed on the ball. I love that in a player. 1 goal in 2 appearences for him in his Boro career so far, we'll have that for starters!

yep its time for Bruce to go, our starting eleven tonight consisted of a GK,2 central defenders and 8 mid-fielders....what's that all about??? Three big money strikers all sitting on the bench, they must be wondering what's going on. Then Bruce gives his report at the end of the game and says "we've got to start taking our chances to win games"...err Steve if both Brighton and Sunderland had taken all their chances we still would have been beaten...heavily beaten!
Niall has to act now its time for a taxi for Bruce.

Thought Bruce maybe under pressure with the way things are going. Didn't understand why he didn't bring on gyan so late in the game. Good open game and we deserved it well said jabdc5. Home form continues superb.
See none of the sides who came up to the Prem never took it serious, which is a let down for any fans who pay money to watch their team.

I've got the William Hill page on my facebook and they were offering 7/1 for all the Premiership teams to qualify for the next round. Loads of lads were slating those odds including myself and I even pointed out that Sunderland were away to Brighton and that Norwich were playing MK Dons (although I never thought it would be 4-0!), Never seen the Rochdale result coming though away to QPR (2-0) and Shrewsbury also did very well to knock Swansea out 3-1. So yeah, shite odds by Willie Hills there, they should hang their heads.

I think Bruce is on his last three games now, if there's nothing doing away at Swansea his next game is Chelsea at home and the Bruce out guys will be in full voice for that. I really can't see him lasting much longer. We have a very good squad on paper but his poor team selection, rubbish tactics and inability to make substitutions is just too much to take.
He has to go.

I can see your point like mate, it's team selections like that that usually means your manager has lost the plot and is trying ANYTHING for a bit of luck rather than thinking his way out of a sticky period or making a shrewd purchase in the transfer market. Quinn back's his managers with spending money doesn't he? Do you think he's a good chairman? Is there money in the kitty?
If there is more money available to spend then I think I'd want anaother manager to spend it cos he's done fuckall there since taking over. I thought he was gonna be a decent manager when he first went into it but it hasn't come off.
