Champions league/europa league draws
Lets hope all the British teams left in the competitons get favourable draws. The longer they all stay in the competitions the better for all of us.
Personally I don't mind if United get one of the Milans. Our recent record against Italian teams is quite good. Arsenal may end up playing Barca or Madrid. Spurs could end up with Valencia or A.C Milan also. Lot of Spurs fans over here are hoping they draw Valencia of course. Rangers can get anyone, and Liverpool and City will not play the teams who finished runner up in their groups.
Won't be long now!!
HERE IT IS!
ROMA V SHAKTAR DONETSK
AC MILAN V TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR
VALENCIA V SCHALKE o4
INTER V BAYERN MUNICH
LYON V REAL MADRID
ARSENAL V BARCELONA
MARSEILLE V MAN UTD
COPENHAGEN V CHELSEA
Selected Europa last 32 ties to appear here . . . . . . .
RANGERS V SPORTING CLUB PORTUGAL
SPARTA PRAHA V LIVERPOOL
ARIS THESSALONIKI V MAN CITY

Would you like Rangers to get City or Liverpool? Or rather later in the competition?

Arsenal are unlucky to get them, but . . . theres a way to go, a lot can happen in a couple of months. Spurs must be delighted. Great match for them, I fancy them to win that and United v Marseille is a hard one to call. They are a good team, away in the first leg might prove to be useful to United.

Might be a tough one to call, (i think united will walk it), but still the next team you'd have wanted to play after copenhagen though, another easy tie for chelsea? Blatter must really like russians.

yeah dream draw for Chelsea , wakka. Not sure I would agree with the conspiracy theories though
even though I make a living discussing them lol. If it was United who finished second and got Brcelona, I would be echoing you to be fair. But, as I said, there is a way to go before that game. Barca are great, not perfect. What we do know is, Wenger cannot approach that the way he approaches games against other teams. A good result at emirates would be anything-0. even if it is a 0-0 draw, it would be great. but Arsenals whole attitude to the game will need to change. In terms of how you set up when you don't have the ball. fascinating first leg. The game of the round.

I was only joking about conspiracy theories, blatter hates all english clubs, so chelsea and United definitely wouldnt have got the easiest two fixtures they hoped for if blatter was involved.
When it all comes down to it for arsenal, we didnt finish top and always knew the risk of not finishing top of the group, but we were probably going to play barcelona anyway at some stage may aswell be sooner rather than later, if we win, we can beat anyone and win the competition, if we lose we'll be able to concentrate on league and fa cup.
As for approaching it, if Fabregas is fit and on form for both legs anything could happen. Also if Messi gets injured or xavi/iniesta then they will be missing a vital cog for the games. I cant see a repeat of the stand off in awe of them that happened last year, last year will be valuable experience, plus we are more of underdogs than we were last year and that will stand us well on the pitch hopefully, ala AC Milan, Real Madrid, Juventus in the past.

Had a funny feeling we would get either Madrid or Barca. I would much rather play Barcelona at one game, over two I don't think that we'll go through. But like people have should its a long time till the game is to be played, so there is plenty of time for RvP to get injured again, along with Walcott. At least we'll have an easier run in at the end of the season.

Spurs will find it tough against AC Milan. They did well against Inter but AC are far better than Inter this season.
The wingers will still cause AC problems though.

The magic Gareth Bale eh?
I keep thinking/hoping that Tottenham is due to come undone in Europe but never do, so it could be an interesting game. Looks like you could go further than us

Lennon too. He has started to show a bit of form and his crosses are improving.
