its a great cleaner, been using it for years, the only fault is it deletes all your passwords, so make sure you have a record of them.

more help guys lol , mike81 thanks for that link,,, ,had already downloaded scudd's link , i'v noticed they are a few boxes unchecked in the scam pages ,do i leave the setting as are ,i'm not tech minded ,LOST

Just go with the default settings, should be ok.
When fixing issues in the registry, make you sure to backup when it asks you. Also run the registry scan more than once, it takes takes 3-5 scans to completely clean.
Whilst you're there aswell go to the start up options and disable anything out don't want to load when you switch on your puter. Things like itunes helper, quick time, power dvd etc really don't need to load up.
