British Gas
These fucking robbing bastards now want £155 PER MONTH off me apparently! It's fucking legalised racketeering all this shit. Apparently cos they've been whacking their prices up like there's no tomorrow I'm now in debit too.

Is there a way to switch energy suppliers when you're in debit? Cheers.

Gas has got to be better than Economy 7. I've paid £190 into my a/c over the past 3 months and got a bill today for £143. A one bedroomed flat ffs and I only heat the living room.

Not only is it useless in the evening, you have to decide the day before if you will need heating the next day and if you should store a lot or a little.

It's not my flat, it's the NI equivalent of the council, so I can't change the heating system and I don't think the gas main has reached here yet anyway.

It's just more examples of 'rip off Britain'. Oh look, Britain is in the grip of arctic temperatures so lets put our fuel and food prices sky fucking high! Bunch of greedy bastards. I hope karma really does exist.

Cheers for the nice comments on the Mrs and the little one Ruud, although they look more like fucking smurfs now since I had to turn the heating off...

I even had their 'Homecare' package once, you know, if your boiler fucks up they'll be straight out and repair it. Everytime I rang them they came out, slapped a condemned sticker on it until TRANSCO came out to check it was all up to standard, and then fucked off again.

It's had a fault on it for a while now where when it's very cold I struggle to get hot water as the pilot light wont fire up when I turn on a hot tap. Got to mess on with it for ages sometimes to get it to work.

Anyway, I googled the fault myself and all it is is a little rubber seal needed inside the diaphragm which costs a couple of quid as when it splits it causes the above problem.

Oh no though, what I needed was a 'Power Flush' apparently to clean out my system, however, the 'Power Flush' just happens to be not covered on the Homecare policy and I'd have to pay £500 to get this done and if I went and got another plumber to do it (at a cost of around £150) they wouldn't recognise that it had been done as they, and they alone, have to do it to keep the policy running.

It was at this point I escorted the British Gas fella off my property and then promptly rang them to inform them to shove their fucking Homecare up their fucking arses.

Can't get a plumber to come and sort this problem for me still (probably cos there's no money it) but my mate's son has just qualified as a plumber so he's gonna do it for me shortly.

Fuck British fucking Gas. Wankers!

Funny you mention the homecare package as they just adverised it on the radio saying-"relax, no unexpected bills to pay"!

I don't know how the system works but it sounds like they just employ local firms (probably at a very low fee) and the firms try to get their profits from rip-offs like this.

I hate insurance companies, no matter what guise they come in. Homecare sounds like just another dodgy insurance scam.

Another advert I hate. The trouble is with all these adverts and the letters I get constantly from Southern water about similar idea to cover my pipes outside, are they play on peoples fears, what if?. I know somebody who has insurance for everything for peace of mind, but thay will find something not covered, like mfc said.It never is peace of mind because they worry about something else you can't get insurance on.They are all robbing bastards.
