Just watched The Kings Speech and it's bbbbb blloooody........bbbrrrrillliant.
I can see why they are on about oscars for this. Good british film and Firth was superb. Suprised me didn't think it would match the hype.
'Hereafter' has had mixed reviews but it's one I'm quite fancying watching. I usually like Clint Eastwood directed films although this is the kinda film you wouldn't normally associate with him. The tsunami sequence at the beginning is supposed to be (for want of a better phrase) excellent and Matt Damon is apparently as brilliant as ever. It's prickled my curiosity anyway...
For those that haven't heard of it, here's a trailer...
Just seen this whilst searching for Hereafter on Youtube, it's 'one of those' films isn't it? Looks great but could turn out to be crap. What do we reckon?
Got a film called "Die" its due to be released this year. Starts off with a man playing russian roulette in front of his lad. Can´t find ówt about it on imdb.com.
Watched a really good movie last night, Never Let Me Go.
Storyline
As children, Ruth (Keira Knightley), Kathy (Cary Mulligan) and Tommy (Andrew Garfield) , spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow into young adults, they find that they have to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for the haunting reality that awaits them.
The Kings Speech - 9/10
Conviction - 7/10 - seemed a bit rushed for me but still good
Mr Nice - 7/10 - story of Howard Marks dope smuggler
Faster - 6/10 - The rock - billy bob thornton - action blood etc
and most notably - thanks to someone on here can't remember who might have been Mike - Sons Of Anarchy - brilliant - up to season 3 - can't help but watch 4 episodes per night - great show - fully recommended
ok just watched this movie last night and thought it was ok, but what the fook kind of ending was that looks like i might just have to keep a look out for part 2
Got to admit I was well dissapointed with the whole film, just waiting for it to get better and it never did, like you say set up for No2.
Have a look at this thread for movie reviews and ideas of what to watch.
Movie reviews is a loose term, not good critics on here. http://www.fsicrew.info/forums/best-...-t7996p49.html
Unknown - is pretty good, slightly predictable in parts, but still a good watch 8/10
Wall street money never sleeps - Not an epic but i liked it cause it is different from a lot of other movies out there 7/10
Next three Days - Again a pretty decent movie which i enjoyed, could have been better in parts though, but all in all pretty enjoyable 7/10
The mechanic - One of stathams better movies but still get what you expect from him. 7/10
Skyline - Like somebody else said watched the whole movie waiting for it to pick up and just never happened. 5/10
Hereafter - Thought it was a bit all over the place and very average. 5/10
Black swan - just not my cup of tea at all, i know it has the lesbian scene, but generally the movie didnt really make sense to me or have a point, might be a great movie to some people just not for me. 4/10
Old now but i watched shooter the other week and thought it was pretty good.
Also i watched all the episodes released of lie to me, got a bit hooked on it, but also near the end i was just watching it to finish it cause it got a bit repetitive.
Been watching entourage though, and i am loving it, i think it is brilliant, might not be everyone cup of tea, but i watched 6 series' in a week. Only 25 min an episode. When i'm finished with entourage i'll give sons of anarchy a watch.
I agree with most of the above post Black Swan was dire as was Hearafter and Skyline.
Anyway check out this trailer the film might be shite but hey Zeps levee on the soundtrack is good enough for me .....if it keeps on raining levees gonna break classic.
