Rafa has big nuts for taking on the president, then it was only a matter of time.

He tried to change the philosophy at Inter, from a counter attacking side to a more attacking side. This is one thing that confuses me as Mourinho is so ultra defensive, but Rafa is the one that gets tagged as a defensive coach.

There was also about 7 first teamers out, who some of which were over 30 and apparently have not trained in the gym for 3 years or something.

I'd have him back at 'pool, to pick up from 08-09. Mourinho - no thanks, had enough defensive football under Hodgson. We currently have no expectations and no direction, even with a squad containing some pretty decent players (Agger, Gerrard, Torres, Reina, Meireles and Cole if he pulls his finger out).

Coming at the whole 'managerial' thing from a different angle....

'Top' managers/coaches are being overpaid. Apart from banking, it must be the only job in the world where you can get 4 years' salary for doing little or nothing. If you win, you earn a fortune. If you lose and get sacked, you earn a fortune.

In England terms, let's face it. Most of us could have achieved the same results as Capello. I'm from Northern Ireland and would have done the job better than Capello for beer money but (slightly) more people would have understood what I was saying.

I know that there are a few good managers around but how would Fergie fare if he took over Blackburn? How well would Morinho do at Wigan?
