football really has gone mad! This man won two leagues with valencia, the champs league with liverpool and usually had liverpool in the top four. he deserved better than that.

we'll be the same after fergie is gone. his replacement will have a season to impress. that's the way its gone

He was always going to be sacked sometime soon,no one would have done as good as the special one,it was just a matter of time even tho its come a lot earlier than i thought it would happen,but its his own fault for playing Russian roulette with the inter top boss this week,Inter are 7th 13 points behind top [with 2 games in hand] losing 3 of their last 5 league games but thats a big gap if your expected to win the league there

I have to say that I am surprised Inter took him on in the first place. I know Italian football can be somewhat negative (read defensive) and Benitez always came over as a bit negative(read defensive)!

You're obviously not watching things that closely in Italy. It is common knowledge that his squad has been decimated with injuries. one sports writer has described it as unprecedented. I understand 7 or 8 of the regulars from the team which won the treble for Inter last year, have been unavailable to him. Benitez went public with his frustration because there was no committment from his president that he would receive the go ahead to plug those gaps. You also chose to ignore what I said re his successes. You do not win leagues in Spain and a champions league with Liverpool, unless you are an excellent coach.

What this is patently, is another example of a tosser chairman/president wailing and keening because his team are struggling, and looking for a scapegoat, when it's obvious there isn't one. They've had a lot of bad luck. I thought he had a real chance when he went there. I'm certain he will get another position either in Italy or back home in Spain, and will show again what a talented coach he is.

I know he had injuries,you obviously dont know how much footy wordwide anywere etc i watch and i thought he had no chance there as said because he was never going to be as good as mourino no matter how good he did,hes been in Liverpool all week as you might have known so he could end back up at Liverpool - you never know how footy works as he supposedly wants a Job in the premiership

So who is going to be as good as Mourinho? Inter won the league, the cup and the champs league. How could he match that? And saying he had a few injuries is insulting to anyone who follows European football closely. The team he inherited was decimated by injuries, not just two or three players. Now you know that, and you know this guy has won the top honours (against the odds) with other clubs, and you think a sacking is the solution? You wouldn't wait to see how things pan out when players return and he has had a chance to bring in his own? That's the best you can come up with? Not even half a season? Just as well then that you are not Bill Kenright, because obviously David Moyes would have been sacked a few seasons ago and Everton would be playing second tier football for the first time in many decades.

Your ideas represent all that I have come to hate about our game. The first sign of trouble and people like you shout SACK HIM. Wonderful. Apply those principles to your everyday life and see how far it gets you.

you get out the wrong side of bed,ive never said that,never will,end of this stupid petty moaning by you,twisting things as ever,thats my last comment on this threat to you,keep twisting and tie yourself in a knot,the 1st sign of him doing bad and they had their reason to get rid of him as there has been rumours for weeks that he was going and Inter fans were not happy with him.

The man is completely insane, personally i was gutted
when he left Liverpool because the destruction wasn't
complete,and i miss his inane ramblings, it's amazing how
the yanks got all the blame at Anfield when Benetiz in-
herited the team {more or less} from Houllier....He spent
a chit load of money on a lesser team than he started with....
If they take him back they are mental, hope they do.....

Petty moaning? Read your own posts you cloth eared prole pretender. He hasnīt been sacked because of any rumours he was leaving. He was sacked because his president is laying the blame for their poor start squarely on his shoulders which you affirmed in your comments about it. Again read your own posts, i canīt be bothered quoting it, because you donīt possess the humility to acknowledge what it is you have said.
