First thunderstorm of the summer uploaded just for you Tony lol - sound is kinda high pitched and thunder is too loud for mic at times but you get the general idea - almost hit by lightning at 6.15 and again at 7.02 - all part of the fun - gunna try and capture all storms and cyclones this year in HD for the punters.... this first one lasted bout 1/2 hour
..at 6.15 and 7.02 yeah - that was some crazy shit even by my standards. Standing in the rain with a beer can in one hand and a metal camera in the other on wet concrete in bare feet... Those 2 lightning strikes couldn't have been more than 20 -40 metres away when they hit the ground... The 6.15 one felt all the hairs on me arms stand up it was fairly close...love summertime yeee hah
My advice, if you got a mate who lives high-up, flats etc. Film from there with a wide-angle, on a tri-pod, with sand bags...string, tape and rope and a condom over the lens.....
