So 2 games in and you say mid-table, that just shows what an idiot you are. Do the human race a favour and go play with the traffic.

Wenger just keep everything on the Q.T, I'm sure something is in the pipeline. Maybe players are waiting to see if Arsenal qualify for the champions league or not?

Hadn't thought about that, that's a big pull for any player plus the money they will get can go towards buying players. Makes that game massive really then for this season.

The stupid feckers who run the club expect the Lord Wenger to keep being able to sell our best players, replace them with kids and maintain a CL place which seems to be the height of their ambition. I wish he would stop being a good employee, throw a rant about being given no money and see the fans turn on our incompetent money grabbing board.

Wenger must be loved by the shareholders. They get a good return every year. He's got good 'business sense' but is too scared to go for a proven player.
At the present time, I think that he is worried that he won't get the best out of a 'big name' and his reputation will suffer. He's probably got the best return on money spent v league position in the Premiership but the Arsenal side that I watched today was a pale comparison to other recent Arsenal teams.

Unfortunately, that's football these days - not a sport but a business. As long as Arsenal keep making a profit, it's unlikely the powers that be sack him (have a look at the comments coming out from the directors about loving him and getting the fans behind him).
Fans just don't seem to have a say anymore - not just at the Arse either.
But I agree with Begs .. the Arsenal that played Liverpool was nothing compared to the Arsenal team of a decade ago.

You mean you've just figured that one out, we've had ash the cash doing it since he took over the bloody club, and what make you think you'll do well in the Big C league with the team you have, they just scraped through last game

I'm expecting to see Arsenal's most defensive performance in quite a while .. With Cesc and Nasri gone, Wilshere crocked, Walcott running down blind alleys (probably), Arshavin's form shit and Bendtner just shit full stop, can't see much creativity .. Van Persie can't do it all his own.
Really hope to see them progress though, not just because they're an English team (in theory), but always loved their brand of football.

I must be a lot older than you or else have a better memory.
Hope they qualify. More interest in European nights when UK teams are involved.
