Something is wrong when a "big" club cannot win their league in 50 years, or half a century, or in most of their fans lifetime, or since colour telly came along, or since man walked on the moon, or (insert any of a trillion inventions here).

Better performance today, United did their usual tactic of allowing us possession and trying to hit us on the break and that is where we were better today-solidity against the counter. There were a couple of balls over the top from them in the first half but they ran offside each time and I can't remember Chesney making a save except from a free kick. Not much created by us either in what was a tame affair but hey ho good triumphs over evil for once.

Arsenal - the best team not to win the EPL.

Ok, I'm joking, no team dominated, but we fell by the wayside, big time.

They should spend the Summer learning the offside trap.

And how to defend set pieces. We have the worst record for that in the Premiership.

Yeah something clearly needs to be done about that. Nothing wrong with making mistakes as long as you learn from them.

Not good enough again but that ref was one of the worst-all the big decisions wrong-the pen and certain sending off, giving a foul against RVP when he turned Dunne (who should have been off by then) and then disallowing the goal for WHAT? They said on my link (cheers by the way) that he was the youngest ref to get a PL game-does this mean he got a end of season game for experience because if it is that is shocking and he shouldn't get another.

The ref was poor, but we were chasing the game after 15 mins. I think it was Walcott who kicked out of defence straight to a Villa player for the first and Villa were in acres of space for the second, can't blame the ref for that.

Wenger said after the draw with Fulham;
'We are disappointed to lose the fourth place because three weeks ago we were in the position to win the league...
