3 pm kick offs

As people will now realise the amount of traffic at 3pm Saturdays is far exceeding our bandwidth. Admin are on the case and are trying to come up with a solution. This will probably be in the form of making sure the front page stays active. Front page.

We will endeavour to post links as soon as we can, and remind everyone.

To ensure you have access to the links when the site is busy please save this page to your computer. Do this by clicking File/Save As or File/Save Page As in your browser.
Alternatively, open and/or bookmark this page

If all else fails there is always the chatroom. Here

Try and find your link half hour before the kick off. That way you ain't wasting time to see if its working or not.

And that way Sten has a chance to watch football as well. He does a great job making sure everyone has a working link and sacrificing his own enjoyment, so lets try and give the guy a break.

Yesterday was the first time in a while i struggled to get on after 3pm.

We all pretty much know the main streamers of Bloodzeed, ALV and YES so as long as you have them three in your sop history you are bound to find a decent game to watch.

Thought it would struggle with all the big four playing at 3pm, but good advice to get on early if you can and always have more than one link working. I have usually 3 sopcasts going to make sure that if one goes another will replace it. This is done by opening sopcast and then down the bottom, there is an option box, click it and then untick, " Allow only one instance of Sopcast", click apply, sorted.

Was this the case on Saturday with the server as I was having trouble from 2pm onwards and could not get onto the live streams page until 4.30 pm.

Yep. That's what happened. We are working to try to ensure that this page is always available, even if the forum is 'rammed'.

The site 'hit count' has being going up exponentially recently for no 'adequately explained' reason.

We can guess why but it looks like we've chosen a bad month to give up heroin.

If anybody hasn't seen Airplane! please refer any questions about the above to somebody that has seen it.

It is very likely that the site will become too busy on Saturday afternoon and you will not be able to access the links. Please save this page to your desktop on Saturday to ensure that you have access to links.

Our servers are struggling to handle the increased work-load brought on by other sites' failures to provide a good service to their regular users.

The Live Streams have not been updated since Thursday/Friday.

IMPORTANT

Man. United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all kick off at 3pm this Saturday. All football sites and streaming platforms will be 'rammed'.

If you are using Sopcast, get on early and stay on.

Please save our links page to your desktop earlier in the afternoon. This site may become too busy and you won't be able to access it around 3 pm.

Manchester Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal kick-off at 3 pm on Saturday, amongst others. Our server has held up very well in recent weeks but it might not be a bad idea to save the links page to your desk-top earlier, whilst you can access it.

Hopefully the server will be able to cope...... but just in case.

Just an idea with times like tomorrow, possibly put the links up at about 21:00 the previous night?? Just in case some people are at work or something and can only get on the site last minute??

They are posted now but the problem is that a lot of streamers don't post their links until the day of the match.

It's a hassle but we advise people to save the links page on a regular basis before the 3 pm matches start. We will add working Sopcast links throughout the afternoon, as usual, but if you can't logon, we probably have no access ether.
